Scholarships
The Chapman Graduate School of Business offers annually a number of academic scholarships to entering students based on merit and depending on the resources available to each program. In addition, there are a number of named scholarships, funded by individuals, companies and financial institutions, some of which have special requirements but offer the added incentive of internship possibilities in addition to tuition funding.
To be recommended for a scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a fully-admitted student entering the first semester of his or her respective program.
- Have a GMAT score of 600 or higher (or GRE score of 1200 or higher)
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or higher (or Master’s degree GPA of 3.50 or higher)
- Submit a one-page, written statement describing the reasons why the applicant merits this academic scholarship. The statement should highlight the candidate’s personal career goals, awards, accomplishments, volunteer services performed or other professional or personal experiences.
- Provide a current resume (could be part of the application package)
- Provide two letters of recommendation (could be part of the application package)
- Complete application form, to download application, please click here.
All awards are distributed on a first come, first served basis. Students are encouraged to submit their application to the Chapman Graduate School program of their choice as early as possible. Since the number of awards is limited, not all students who meet the criteria are guaranteed an award. The total number and amount of the awards will vary from year to year.
The following is a list of our named scholarships:
- Banco Espirito Santo Scholarship
- NSHMBA Scholarship
- Chapman Merit Scholarship
For more information, or to apply, please contact the Program Manager for the program in question. The Chapman School’s Scholarship Committee will meet regularly during the year to consider all applications.
