Florida International University (FIU), through the Chapman Graduate School of Business and the College of Continuing and Professional Studies, offers an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program in Jamaica.

The EMBA program in Jamaica is conducted at University College of the Caribbean (UCC) facilities in Kingston, located at 17 Worthington Avenue, Kingston 5, Jamaica.

The EMBA program in Jamaica consists of two program cohorts. The duration of the EMBA program is 20 months. Tenured FIU business faculty teach in the program.

UCC provides appropriate classroom facilities for the Program. FIU, through the Chapman Graduate School of Business and the College of Continuing and Professional Studies, provides support services for the EMBA program. Course evaluations are conducted to monitor the quality of the program.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Outcome 1: Evaluate the financial position of organizations through the examination of balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets.
  • Outcome 2: Use team building and collaborative behaviors to accomplish group tasks.
  • Outcome 3: Recognize and analyze ethical problems/ choose and defend resolutions for situations that occur in business.
  • Outcome 4: Critically analyze complex business issues and recommend sound solutions, in local and global environments.
  • Outcome 5: Demonstrate competency in IT as an enabler of business strategies in all functional areas.
  • Outcome 6: Make decisions that meet expectations and requirements of an organization’s stakeholders.

Schedule

  • forty-two credit hours of coursework
  • one course per 5 weeks
  • classes held on alternate Fridays and Sundays
  • time to completion is 20 months

Tuition for the EMBA program is $19,500. Tuition includes:
