PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Dr. Chacar has held visiting positions at Ohio  State  University, the University of Utah, and Balamand University.  Her research has received several awards including the Best Paper Award in International Management and a McKinsey & Company Best Conference Papers prize.

Dr Chacar has examined value creation, value appropriation and the distribution of rents, with a focus on Star employees.  She also conducts research on innovation from Major League Baseball to the pharmaceutical industry to the global electronics industry.
