PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Dr. Tremblay has published papers in Decision Support Systems, the Journal of Computer Information Systems, and has presented her research at the Design Science Conference (2007), AMCIS (2005,2006) Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (39), INFORMS (2004), the Veterans Administration Health Services Research & Development Service annual meeting (2005), and the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting (2005), as well as being selected to participate and present in the ICIS and AMCIS Doctoral Consortiums (2006). She also was invited to present her research at the SAS Data Mining Conference (2007) and the Fourth Annual CABIT Symposium (2006).
She is currently working as a co-investigator in two Veterans Administration, Health Services Research and Development funded studies:"Using Knowledge Discovery Strategies to Identify Fall-related Injuries in the VA", and "Using Text Mining to Differentiate Between Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom Veterans".
Her teaching interests are in the areas of data analytics and business intelligence, including database design, development, and administration, as well as data warehousing and data mining.
She has worked for Exxon U.S.A. as a Systems Analyst in Houston, Texas, and in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (1991-1996).
