PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Renu Desai has been appointed an assistant professor in the School of Accounting. Her interests include evaluating the economic and ethical considerations underlying the outsourcing of professional accounting services, financial accounting, and management accounting.

While at the University of Central Florida, Dr. Desai received a university-wide research presentation award in Business Administration (2006) and conducted extensive research on accounting outsourcing and the influence it may have on organizational form and structure.

Dr. Desai also has professional experience in the public sector, including work with NIIT, Bombay; Pepsi Bottling Group, and Deloitte & Touche, New York.
