PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Yunhao Chen joins the School of Accounting as an assistant professor. Chen’s research interests include financial reporting and disclosure, financial analyst forecasting, earnings expectation management, and accounting information systems.
Chen has presented at numerous professional conferences, including the American Accounting Association Midwest Regional Meeting and the American Accounting Association’s Financial Accounting and Reporting Section.
Chen’s teaching interests span financial accounting, managerial accounting, and accounting information systems. She taught Introduction to Financial Reporting in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, for which she received the “2004-2005 Outstanding Doctoral Teaching Award.”
She earned a PhD from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management; an MBA from the University of Minnesota; and a BS in economics and business from the University of International Business and Economics in China.
