Making a Difference

Financial contributions are not the only way to support the work of the college in building business leaders for South Florida and the global business community. You can make a difference by getting involved. Here are just a few of the opportunities available:

Mentor a student.
Mentoring is a way to provide guidance and support to our students as they seek to define their professional aspirations and prepare for a business career. By reaching out, you'll be building a relationship with a future business star student who will benefit from your involvement.

Speak to a class.
Share your story and your experiences in the business world with our students through an in-class lecture or by addressing students in one of our many business student organizations.

Serve as a program advisor.
Lend your expertise to one of our academic programs by serving on an advisory board to ensure our curriculum is current and meeting the needs of today's marketplace.

Provide career opportunities.
We offer many opportunities to hire, mentor, and network with the college's students and alumni. Whether you're looking for a good intern or employee, want to counsel one or more of our students, or participate in events sponsored by our student organizations and/or the college, you can make a difference.

Meet and recruit students.
Host or attend our regional alumni events, interview graduates in your area, or sponsor a reception for students and/or alumni at your organization.

Sponsor or host an information session.
Help recruit students to study at our college by sponsoring and or hosting an information session at your organization or participating in one hosted by the college.

Be an active parent.
Many parents of our students are actively involved in the college, either helping with student and alumni events, recruiting new students, or in a host of other ways.

Volunteer.
We always need volunteers to help make student life and our academic programs stronger and more vibrant. Sign up and we'll take it from there. We also welcome your ideas for ways you'd like to get involved.
