President's Letter

Dear FIU Business Alumni and friends:

On behalf of the FIU Business Alumni Board of Directors I welcome you to our website. Here you will find many ways to engage with your Alma Mater.

As you know, Florida International University’s College of Business Administration continues to be a leading business school with unique expertise in the fields of international business, entrepreneurship, and in the financial services such as accounting, banking and real estate, to name a few. Our school is growing more than ever! Recently we have seen the addition of the Wertheim School of Medicine; plans for the college of business to house graduate programs in other parts of the Miami community, specifically downtown Miami. I must say that it is a great time to be a Panther Grad and to stay connected!

The FIU Business Alumni Chapter was created over ten years ago to reconnect over 42,000 FIU business alumni with the college and fellow graduates. In addition, the Alumni Chapter was created in part to assist in the professional development of its members. To accomplish this, the chapter plans an active annual event agenda made up of business seminars, networking events, community service activities and social affairs, all to encourage lasting business relationships and friendships. All these activities follow the FIU Business Alumni Chapter’s goals of promoting professionalism, integrating business valued-added programming into events and most importantly building alumni pride and awareness in our community.
