Financial Aid
We recommend that you begin thinking about your financial aid needs and options during the initial admissions process to the Chapman Graduate School of Business.. Please contact our Chapman Graduate School Financial Aid Coordinator for more information.
The college also offers scholarships and tuition waivers for graduate students. For additional information about financial aid, you also may wish to visit the university's financial aid office web site.
Scholarships
The Alvah H. Chapman Graduate School of Business has a number of scholarship opportunities provided through the generosity of both individuals and corporations. Most scholarships are awarded in the summer for the following academic year
(Fall 2007—Spring 2008). Awards generally range from $500 to $2000 a year, depending on the scholarship, the qualifications of the recipient, and the number of qualified applicants. International students are eligible for some scholarships and partial tuition waivers.
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, you must be seeking a degree in a program offered by the Chapman School. For most scholarships, graduate students must be enrolled full-time (9 credit-hours or more) during the period for which they receive a scholarship. Financial need is a criterion for some scholarships, but it is not a requirement for application.
In addition, we have information about just some of the sources of scholarships outside the business school.
To find out more information about the scholarships and the deadlines, please visit our scholarship descriptions website.
Recipients typically are notified of their awards in the summer prior to the academic year in which they will enroll. For more information, contact Anezka Martinez-Rios in the Executive Dean's Office, College of Business Administration, at martinam@fiu.edu or 305-348-2751.
