Bass Museum of Art
 The Bass Museum of Art in the heart of the historic Art Deco District offers an overview of major European paintings, sculpture and textiles, plus temporary exhibitions of contemporary and historical art from around the world. Monumental nineteenth-century tapestries as well as stunning altarpieces are some of the signature pieces of its permanent collection, spanning more than 500 years and four continents. Past exhibits include: “Retratos: 2000 Years of Latin American Portraits” (2005), “Tapestries of the Great Twentieth Century Modernists: Picasso, Matisse, Calder and Others” (2006).
The museum’s original 1930 Art Deco building was expanded in 2002 by renowned architect Arata Isozaki and now boasts a media center, terrace, and beautiful museum shop. Educational programs, film series, lectures, and live performances complement the works on view in its five galleries.

Miami Science Museum
 As sure as Saturn has rings, a visit to the Miami Science Museum guarantees a fun time for all ages. Featuring interactive one-of-a kind exhibits, laser music shows, a wildlife rehabilitation center, and a state-of-the art planetarium, it’s one of the country’s leading museums. Miami Science Museum is also home to South Florida’s largest natural history collection, comprising over 60,000 artifacts and specimens covering zoology, geology, paleontology, and anthropology.
