“Vania and I were looking for a program that was for working professionals; after careful thought and consideration, we enrolled at Florida International University weekend BBA+ plus program in July of 2007. For us the benefits were being able to earn our degree and continue work. The added benefit is that we would be able to do this together as husband and wife. We needed a pre-set schedule and someone to handle the administrative bureaucracy for us. This outweighed the incremental cost.

The administrative staff and professors have been very understanding and supportive of us going back to school; very different than traditional classes. We have been going though our program in a cohort; and as a result, we have also been assigned many group projects. The students in our cohort are from diverse backgrounds and that given us the opportunity to learn from each other AND build excellent networks and friendships.

NOW, college anywhere is always going to involve work and sacrifice. But the environment created by FIU’s BBA plus program makes it a pleasure and provides a great sense of accomplishment. We are now within two semesters of graduating, and can say that going joining FIU’s WBBA program is one of the best decisions we have ever made."
