Advisors are here to assist in the development of meaningful educational plans that are compatible with your life goals. They will show you how to take ownership of your education in order to be successful in your academic career. The basic goals of advising embrace:

• Providing accurate and customized academic information.
• Educating students on how to plan effectively.
• Helping identify goals and develop education plans to reach them.
• Interpreting and assuring adherence to CBA academic policies and procedures.
• Consulting with students experiencing academic difficulty and assisting in identifying reasons for problems and possible solutions.
• Helping you understand degree requirements, choosing a major or minor, course selection and schedule planning.
• Answering questions about double majoring and study abroad.

You can rely upon your academic advisor for information, assistance, and encouragement throughout your time in the College of Business. Depending upon your needs, an advisor can be contacted by:

Reserve time to speak with an advisor, engage in academic planning and ask questions. These appointments can be scheduled online.

Have a quick question? For a more immediate response to relatively simple questions, chat with an advisor. You can talk to an advisor online Monday through Friday.
